Great news — Habitot, Berkeley’s beloved hands-on discovery museum for small children, is back! Of course, it never really went away, despite every challenge the pandemic could throw at it. After more than a year of being closed and two more years operating as a mobile museum, Habitot opened an indoor space Monday at 5689 Bay St. in Emeryville. The property’s owner, CenterCal Properties, is making it available to Habitot from June through August to enliven the north end of Emeryville’s Bay Street with more activities for families.
