It feels like so long ago that Shake Shack was the East Coast competitor to the West Coast’s In-N-Out. In-N-Out is continually moving east, having just announced plans to open in Tennessee, and the East Coast-born Shake Shack is now bringing a location to Emeryville. It will be the 11th Bay Area outpost.
