FACE FOUNDRIÉ Hosts Grand Opening at Bay Street Emeryville

Emeryville’s Premier Lifestyle Destination Showcases Inclusive Diversity Through Events and Festivities

EMERYVILLE, Calif. Sept. 23, 2025 – The reasons to visit Bay Street Emeryville keep multiplying with new tenants opening and festive events celebrating Hindu culture, Oktoberfest and Halloween.

Countdown to GLOW
FACE FOUNDRIÉ, the country’s fastest growing, woman-owned, focused facial bar, is holding its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 11. It offers an all-inclusive experience that empowers customers to look and feel their best. Cutting-edge, walk-in services, accessible pricing and extensively trained staff come together for all things face: facials, lashes, brows and skincare, such as dermaplaning, chemical peels, hydrafacial and more. As the staff says: “We can’t wait to touch your face!”

Advanced appointment booking is currently available through the website, while the grand opening celebration starts at 10 a.m., with an official ribbon-cutting at 10:30. Inside will be live demonstrations of various services and light bites paired with wine from Husic Vineyards of Napa.

The first 50 people through the door will get a FACE FOUNDRIÉ tote packed with a full-size signature product, a branded workout towel, headband and other gifts. All guests who make an appointment during the celebration will get a 25% discount, along with the offer of $10 off monthly memberships with a minimum three-month commitment.

“FACE FOUNDRIÉ is an exciting and much-needed addition to our growing beauty and wellness lineup at Bay Street Emeryville,” said David Palomo, Bay Street Emeryville General Manager. “Its mission to make skincare approachable for everyone is a perfect fit for our community.”

Toy Shopping for the Holidays
Inspiring nostalgia for parents and grandparents and excitement for kids, Toys “R” Us, in partnership with Go! Retail Group, will be opening its doors at Bay Street Emeryville this October with a seasonal holiday shop. CenterCal Properties, LLC, the owner of Bay Street Emeryville, will be bringing a second store to the East Bay, this one at The Streets of Brentwood, its newly acquired property.

“As we head into the most magical time of the year, Toys R Us is reaching more kids and families than ever before,” said Kimberly Miller, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Toys R Us. “From new store openings with our global partners, to the launch of our second Global Holiday Play Day serving as the runway to the season, to Geoffrey’s birthday celebrated worldwide on Oct. 17 — and of course the main event in December — Toys R Us is creating joy and excitement for kids of all ages everywhere.”

The seasonal store will be located at 5680 Bay St., three doors down from Tipsy Putt and next to Victoria’s Secret.

A Hole in One
Everyone’s favorite drinkertainment venue, Tipsy Putt, has gotten even better with the opening of its new Barcade! Guests can soon enjoy a mix of classic and new arcade favorites, including skee-ball, Pac-Man, StepManiaX, Fast & Furious and more.

An upcoming Oktoberfest promotion starting on Sept. 24 is the perfect opportunity to get your game on while picking up a souvenir stein full of Knee Deep Brewing beer along with two pub pretzels with beer cheese and mustard for just $14. This promotion runs for a limited time while supplies last.

On Sundays, enjoy that other game — NFL football — with $19 pitchers of select beer. Catch this promotion during regular season!

Festival of Lights
Diwali, a five-day “festival of lights” observed by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists, officially begins on Oct. 20 but Bay Street Emeryville will be honoring it the day before, Sunday, Oct. 19, with A Celebration of Light & Culture from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Bay Break Dining Terrace & Plaza.

Highlights will include:

  • Cookbook signing by Hetal Vasavada, famed author of “Milk & Cardamom.”
  • New collaboration flavor unveiling of Cardamom Brown Butter with Jamun at Humphry Slocombe — show proof of purchase of an autographed Vasavada cookbook and get 10% off any purchase.
  • Show that same proof of purchase at Pippal Regional Indian and enjoy a free, hand-crafted cocktail or mocktail as you peruse their Diwali special weekend menu.
  • Explore LUSH’s new, limited-edition Diwali collection.
  • Feel the energy with UC Berkeley’s Cal Bhangra dance team at 2:30 p.m. and the university’s premiere Bollywood fusion dance team, Azaad, at 3, followed by some free dance lessons.
  • Mehendi designs from a henna artist on the Terrace from 2 to 4 p.m.

“Our tenants from different industries coming together to celebrate this holiday truly speaks to what Bay Street Emeryville is all about,” said Christa Williams, Marketing Director of Bay Street Emeryville, “fostering community connection, enjoyment and a sense of belonging and being welcome.”

Candy and Chrome
Saturday, Oct. 25, will be a spooktacular day of family fun as Truck or Treat returns for the second year in a row, benefiting the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay, an organization whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. Their members will be volunteering at the event so be sure and say hi. This event helps JLOEB provide grants every year (totaling $10,000) to local nonprofits serving area women and children.

“At Bay Street, a CenterCal Property, we live by our company’s core values, which encourage us to always uplift our communities,” said Williams. “We want to create magical places that bring everyone together in a diverse and inclusive harmony.”

“We’re thrilled to be back at Bay Street Emeryville this October,” said Trish Sagare, the group’s president. “Our annual Touch-a-Truck event in Contra Costa County every spring has a huge following and we know that this Halloween version will be even more successful and help the underserved populations of Alameda County.”

Starting at noon and going until 7 p.m., Truck or Treat will feature:

  • Touch-a-Truck Zone: Where little ones can explore unique and exclusive vehicles up close in a hands-on experience.
  • Kids Fun Zone: Children will enjoy family-friendly activities like inflatable games, a train ride and a costume contest.
  • 21+ Zone: Sip on adult beverages served by our dining tenants, with proceeds benefiting the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay.
  • Musical Entertainment: Groove to beats by DJ BeetleJack Juice, with children’s artist Andy Z and the Andyland Band performing at 6 p.m.
  • Trick or Treating: It wouldn’t be Halloween without this! No tricks, just treats from all of the trucks and participating tenants.
