By the end of the month, expect three more restaurant options at Emeryville’s Bay Street, which is clearly aiming to become a dining destination. Oakland fave Arthur Mac’s Little Snack, San Rafael’s Uchiwa Ramen, and New York’s Shake Shack are all on track to open soon, which will give Emeryville many more dining choices than its population of 13,000 would suggest.
After all, not only do those three join Humphry Slocombe in the shopping mall, Emeryville’s Public Market, with even more selections, is just a few blocks down the road.
